Lon C. Merritt, CFP™

Lon has been practicing as a Financial Planner since 1976. He earned the right to use the Certified Financial Planner (CFP™) designation in 1985 and continues to maintain his license to practice through continuing education and seminars with a committment to the standards and practices as established by the CFP™ Board.

During the last 34 years, Lon has been affiliated with Cadaret Grant & Co. Inc. which is based in Syracuse, New York. He has been honored as a Top 10 Advisor for Cadaret Grant for many years and has received and continues to receive numerous National Sales and Achievement Awards.

In addition to his CFP™ certification, Lon possess his Series 7, 63 and 24 licenses.  Lon is also licensed to sell Life & Health insurance as well as Long Term Care insurance products.
